Parent Checklist for Student Success:

 

  • Check your child’s planner each day for homework assignments and due dates.
  • Provide your child with a quiet study place at a regular time each day
  • Give your child encouragement, hints, and help, but not answers.
  • Remind your child to inquire about assignments when he/she has been absent. All work is to be made up whether the absence was planned or not.
  • Encourage your child to get the name of a reliable student in each class to call for homework questions.
  • Discuss with your child on a daily basis what they have learned in school.

YMCA After School Zone. All students will be required to fill out a YMCA registration form. Please check your child’s planner daily for homework assignments.
